Make my Messenger status = Outlook "Show time as" setting.
I want Windows Live Messenger to display a status of "busy" when my Outlook Calendar reflects my time as "busy." This seems like something that should work given the new Outlook Social Connector, but I haven't had any luck linking these statuses. 1 person needs an answerI do too

I don't believe Windows Live Messenger is capable of accessing Outlook's calendar. It may be capable of accessing the Windows Live calendar, but I don't know if it is. The Social Connector doesn't access Outlook's calendar, either, as far as I can tell, but I haven't played with it all that much to know for sure. You may get a better answer in either an Outlook forum like http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/outlookcontact/threads or the Windows Live Messenger Portal.Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]------------------------------If a reply helps, please vote it as helpful.
